Windows 7 Features Video

A new Windows 7 video was uploaded to Youtube today which is demonstrating some of the new features that are already implemented in the Windows 7 Milestone release. The speed of the video is fast, really fast and I had to watch it twice to get a look at all the new features.

The video shows footage of the Windows Explorer, ftp locations, keyboard shortcuts, screen and animation capturing, disk usage analyzer, task manager, virtual drive, website, blog and portal designer, pdf conversion and password manager. Lots of interesting new features.

Update: According to Arstechnica that video is a fake.

Video looks great and I am looking forward to Windows 7. However, I can see now Adobe and other companies may be yelling about the features which sucks.

Looks cool. Since I haven’t used Vista at a very extensive level I don’t know if the features in the video are indeed new, but I’m assuming they are, and in that case I’m really looking forward to Windows 7. The Virtual Disk manager looks cool; maybe it’s forshadowing an enhanced and perhaps included Microsoft Virtual PC…

Looks cool but some of the features already have a Total commander

Booooooo. Who’s the creative team behind Windows…..they are tasteless. They all should be fired. Still Apple bit the crap out of windows. Even the fonts on that youtube video is horrible, with brown background. I don’t get it. Zero taste, colorblind people can only get this. I’m so tired of update my computer every day.
Windows and PC world sucks 200%.

    Gabriel,

Although I also have issues with Microsoft as a whole, we must remember that these GUI features are incomplete. As Windows 7 draws closer to its release, its interface will almost definitely make significant changes, hopefully for the better. So, there’s not much of a point in making judgements about Windows’ user interface until maybe full beta testing at the soonest, when significant revisions to the UI will be applied in the beta builds.
