The German online magazine Winfuture got their hands on build 7032 of the Enterprise edition of Windows 7 which has the build string 6.1.7032.0.winmain.090129-1812. There are not that many visible changes in that build compared to the previous builds 7022 and 7000. Build 7032 was compiled on 29.01.2009 which means about 14 days after build 7022.

The release candidate of Internet Explorer 8 is integrated in this release (like it was in 7022). One of the main changes is the addition of the two themes Architectures and Characters which can be activated in the theme browser. There have also been some additional visual changes like a new icon for Homegroup or Control Panel. Other minor changes have been applied to Windows Media Player 12 and Microsoft Paint. The User Account Control on the other hand has not been changed in build 7032.

Just install Win7 build 7000 x32 as my main OS, having a few issue with driver and some software, but it is stable. Runs as good as WinXP, love the GUI, even tho I do find it a slow in breaking old happens. It did take a will to get use to Win2K
after leaving Win98, far less time for Win2k to WinXP.

Dev is moving way faster they I would of guess MS was capable of, considering it took like what 6+ years to get Vista ME completed.

I won't be upgrading my beta till the 64 bit release candidate is ready.

Yeah installed the 7000 build on a buddies computer and gave me some trouble with soundcard drivers but after an hour or so i managed to locat the needed package for his soundcard..

but when i tried install on my own comp i stuck on loading the installer...so i guess ddr3 technology isnt that stabil or safe with that version, so now when 7022 was comming i was going to check it out but now it feels like maybe going to w8 for 7032 64bit or something like that, for the first time i fell that it whouldnt hurt do cash up for a ms operating system.

and im glad that i found this site so i can keep updated with the subject. peace out and keep up the good work
  • i thinks it will be great to have windows 7 this years.
