Just a quick heads up for our readers that Microsoft has finally published the Windows 7 Release Candidate publicly. Users from all over the world can download both the 32-bit and the 64-bit edition of the Windows 7 Release Candidate to their computer systems. The very same announce page that was published accidentally weeks ago is now showing once again containing the instructions on how to download the release candidate.
It is available in the five languages English, German, French, Japanese and Spanish. The website itself does not appear to be under heavy load yet but the Microsoft Profile site does. Our predicted server lags and errors for this day seem to come true after all. The release candidate will be available at least through July 2009 which should give anyone enough time to download and install it. There is also no limitation on the amount of keys and downloads.

Users who want to try their luck can do so at the official Microsoft website. The problems at this point in time seem to occur during the login stage of the release candidate download after selecting one of the Windows 7 editions for download.
