The day is upon us. The launch of Windows 7 is here. To help bring in Microsoft’s latest and greatest, Kaspersky Internet Security 2010, IObit Security, and Panda Security are offering free one year subscriptions to everyone. If you need a good anti-virus to protect your new Windows 7 computer, look no further.
I have never used Panda or IObit. But I can say Kaspersky is a very solid security suite. The fact that you can get a free year of any of them is highly appealing. Here are the links to the download pages:
- Panda Internet Security 2010 (Offer is only valid to U.S. residents).
Even if you have a anti-virus running on your computer now you should consider taking one of these manufacturers up on their offer. I have 269 days left on my paid subscription of Kaspersky but I am going to renew it with a free year as soon as the site becomes active. You have got to love free swag. By the way, if I hear of anymore free stuff being given away because of Windows 7 I will post it on the site as soon as possible. Thanks Windows 7 and happy computing everyone!
One more thing, if you are having trouble choosing a good anti-virus and are unsure of these three choices try this great article out. It might help you make the right decision. Which Secuirty Program Is Best For Windows 7.
