Windows 7 News Winter Themepack For Windows 7

View Comments December 1, 2009 | Martin

One of the great new features of Microsoft’s new operating system Windows 7 is the ability to create and share custom themes, something that was not possible in previous operating systems without some system file hacking. We here at Windows7news.com always liked the idea to share some of our own themes with our visitors. This is why we have decided to create themepacks for Windows 7 and distribute them to everyone who is interested in running some high quality themes on the computer.

The first theme that we are releasing is a Winter theme, very suitable for the cold season if you happen to live in the northern hemisphere. The theme pack contains ten Winter wallpapers which have been taken from Flickr. Attribution has been added to the text file which has to be supplied with the theme pack. Here are some impressions of it:

All wallpapers have a resolution of at least 2000×1600 and are set to stretch if the resolution of the computer monitor should be higher than the resolution of the wallpaper.

You can download the Winter theme for Windows 7 directly from our website.

Check out our Windows 7 themes repository for additional themes. We will add more in the future, stay tuned.
