I guess when they ditched the Vienna codename microsoft gave the game away.  I'm so happy I got the www.windows7news.com domain name - I hope we can keep it!

Perhaps, but you registered the name a fair while ago, so they may have windows trademarked but prob not windows 7 when you registered. But i guess they have a big legal team, so what they want they will probably get.

Meh I don't mind the name Windows 7. It's a lot different from the other names like XP and Vista.

To me, personally the name makes the OS feel more original and watching the M3 Videos, very visually appealing.

It doesn't matter when it was registered.  However, why would they take it over?  This entire site is a HUGE Windows AD.  So unless the admins allow not so legal activities, this site helps MS.
